Iminophosphanes: Unconventional Compounds of Main Group Elements

چکیده

The large number of known stable compounds in which phosphorus has a low coordination number makes it clear that such compounds can no longer be regarded as “exotic” in main group chemistry. While the rich chemistry of P-C multiply bonded systems makes clear their affinity to their organic congeners, iminophosphanes in particular are also of increasing importance. The linkage of a phosphinidine fragment with an imine fragment via a multiple bond gives rise to a class of compounds with an unusually wide range of structural types. This in turn leads to a broad spectrum of chemical behavior which makes iminophosphanes extremely useful synthetic building blocks in organoelement chemistry. Volume 30 Number 3

Conventional and Unconventional Intramolecular Hydrogen Bonding in some Beta-diketones

This study presents our view of unconventional and conventional intramolecular hydrogen bonds (HBs) for some beta-diketones theoretically and experimentally. According to our results, the groups such as Phenyl and t-But in beta positions increase and CF3 group decrease IHB strength, respectively. For better understanding of the substitution effects, the compounds with similar and different subs...

Research Articles Photocontrol of the Coordination Numbers of the Main Group Elements: Properties of Azobenzenes Bearing a Main-Group-Element Substituent and Their Application | TCI

Each main group element in main group compounds usually takes its own specific coordination number, oxidation number and bonding state. An unusual valence can be achieved by appropriate molecular design and synthetic methods, and such an unusual valence results in characteristic, unique structures and properties. The reactivity of the main group compounds markedly depends on the coordination nu...

Identification and Evaluation of Unconventional Hydrocarbon Reserves: Examples from Zagros and Central Iran Basins

It is notable that over the past decade, proven reserves of natural gas have dramatically increased as higher prices and advances in technology have turned previously unrecoverable resources into major sources of domestic production. Moreover, the decline in crude oil reserves has significantly slowed over the past decade. Therefore, there would be an end to the conventional hydrocarbon resourc...

Activation of Dihydrogen by Masked Doubly Bonded Aluminum Species

Organic chemistry has mainly developed with the use of second-row elements such as carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen, while the synthesis and isolation of the heavier congeners of typical organic molecules as stable compounds has been a dream for organic chemists. Our main research interest is the elucidation of the similarities and differences in structures and reactivities between organic compound...
